Introduction to Kaspa – Kigali, Rwanda.

Community has long been a proven tool for ecosystem growth across blockchain projects and as it must sound obvious, with the true nature of decentralization and community-driven in the Kaspa ecosystem:- the Kaspa ambassador in Rwanda, Sheebar Kamusiime was able to pull off a great introductory event in Kigali as the Digital Transformation Center of Rwanda.

The event was co-organized by Starknet Rwanda and the audience in attendance was Local developers, Women in Tech-Rwanda, College tech students, Local Web3 enthusiasts and state authorities from the Department of Emerging Technologies. Through my 30-minute presentation, I discussed Kaspa’s approach to address the key Blockchain Trilemma to solve existing challenges presented by traditional systems, especially those related to fairer financial inclusion. I also took some time to direct attendees to the official Kaspa socials and on how to get community support as well as resources to direct the community on how to contribute to Kaspa.

There was also some time taken off during networking for downloading the Kaspium App and setting up wallets for attendees. This was after the presentations while on pizza and networking. A confirmed number of 15 downloads was recorded and of course, those anticipating the bull run did not escape some conviction to think about investing in some KAS at the end of the day.

Here is an X post about the event and a Google Drive with some picks and moments about the event!
